Most definitely our favorite trout flyline, particularly with softer action rods, which we prefer for our local trout waters. These lines are a taper within a taper, and can be customized by cutting the tip of the line to achieve the desired result. You can check them out here .

CUSTOM HAND FURLED LEADERS Take a piece of string, put about a thousand twists into it, now hold the center and let the two legs Untwist on each other, which twists the pair together in the opposite direction. Now you have furled the string - an ancient way of making rope. In the early 1700's a fly fisher in England named Walton furled multiple hairs from a horses tail together to make the first tapered leader. These leaders are furled by Randy Church, a 4th generation fly fisher who was taught to "twist" leaders by an old Appalachian mountain man, his Grandpa. We twist leaders in many combinations of materials, weights, and tapers from 0-4 weight for clear trout streams to 12-15 weight saltwater monsters that will turn over your largest streamers.
