TRIP CHECKLIST Our guests are welcome to bring their own tackle and wading gear. For those who do not have gear we have gear available for rent including rods, reels, and waders. A variety of flies will work, and we can recommend flies that will work for our trip for those who like to tie some of their own flies to try. The waters we fish we are very familiar with, and therefore can supply the exact patterns that are needed. These are the items we recommend for all of our trips. Obviously, not all items are absolute must haves, but the following items will help you enjoy the trip to the fullest. ___Appropriate Fishing License ___Rod/Reel 3-6 weight, 7 1/2 to 9 feet depending upon the stream we are fishing. 3-4 weight 7 1/2 to 8' is great for small streams and delayed harvest waters, longer rods and 4-5 weight for tailwaters and larger rivers. ___Split Shot ___Strike Indicators ___Fly Floatant ___Assortment of Seasonally and Conditionally Appropriate Wet & Dry Flies ___Leader 7 1/2 in 4x or 5x for small streams, 9' in 4x, 5x, or 6x for tailwaters or larger rivers. ___Tippet Material 4x-6x for small streams, 4x - 8x for Tailwaters ___Net ___Chest Waders ___Wading Boots with Felt Soles ___Wading Staff ___Polarized Sunglasses, Brown, Copper, Amber shades are best ___Fleece Jacket for cool weather fishing, usually even early summer for early am hours and tailwater fishing ___Light/Packable Rain Jacket ___Brimmed Hat ___Sunscreen with at least an SPF30 ___Insect Repellent ___Camera & Film ___A Change of Dry clothes (Mandatory for Fall through Early Spring Trips)
